Description
That`s right, this is one part of Matha`s history I had never mentioned and would be for the best to not even ask Matha about. She doesn`t have pleasant memories about this particular year that she survived on her own in the wild after being banished.
Why a decade? Because she was 10 when she got to see this dragon that had mysteriously followed her for a week, so still pretty much a baby-juvenile wyvern when she caught the glimpse of it ... thus it`s reasonable that its gruesome guise had made her terrified. Even though terror is not the reason why she started to shed tears - the reason for that is that it had told her a story about its life while being around in its gnarly whispers and she really felt the impact of it, feeling really sorry for the dragon, even though with that she made herself vulnerable to other dragons around, thus she had to run away. Run and fly away as quickly as possible, so that its "defilibrating abilities" would not affect her anymore and made her being the easy prey.
And those "abilities" had taken more than just memories that had outlasted almost every other memory around ... these had also impacted her dreams, making her seeing this dying dragon in almost every single dream she had, haunting her almost 4 years before she managed to overcome it in a sort, just to then get full-head into her life before she was strong enough to return back to her rightful home.
In here, she had reached 20 and had almost fully matured into an adult wyvern when she returned to see the dragon again, being afraid that her memories will make her break again. You can believe that in this shadow she is not seen holding herself not to shed tears again when being that close to the undead boogey-dragon of her youth. Yes, the white image above them is herself ... when she was 10. Pretty cute little thing, if you ask me <3
UNDEAD! BORON! SHADOW! This is a legit design I had done in my sketchbooks, only colors are missing, even though I`m thinking of darkened and more faded versions of their original colors, as this dragon has, thank the gods, not been "created" by vile Darkness Dragons. And indeed, it`s really that big, even compared to almost-adult Matha, so try imagine her being just a third of her normal size being compared with that large dragon. Another reason for her fright when she was that much younger
As almost always, the inspiration is coming from Norroen-Stjarna`s shadow images and ValiChan has been a big help when getting Boron into my drawings, so thank you, both of you. Keep rocking!

Awesome drawing and really interesting read! You put a lot of thought into the story - which I always love and support and encourage.
